Nursery for infants through 36 months

Our nursery is staffed during the 9:30 service for children up to 36 months old. We have a separate area for tummy time and crawlers to play!

An Infant-Nursing Mother’s room is available for use as needed. Parents can soothe their infants and still watch service. The room is located downstairs near the Gathering room directly next to the elevator. The room offers rocking chairs, a changing table, dim lighting, and a TV quietly broadcasting the service live.

3 & 4 year-olds have a transition class which gently transitions them from a nursery setting into a classroom setting by incorporating playtime with Bible story lessons.

Kindergarten through 6th grade classrooms are using The Beginners Bible and the What’s In The Bible Curriculums. Their time is filled with singing, bible lessons, and fun learning activities. Children will attend Children’s Moment in the Sanctuary with their class and leaders, then return back to to Discovery Zone for more exciting learning!

7th – 12th Grade students go deeper into learning with more in depth lessons and discussions as they discover how relevant the bible is to their current lives as they continue to grow their relationships with Christ.

Parents are welcome to enjoy coffee, refreshments and fellowship in the Gathering Room, located in the center of the Sunday School classrooms.

Safety of our children is a top priority

For the safety of all children, we use an ID system for all children from infant to 6th grade. Parents/guardians receive an ID tag to be used to pick up their children at the end of Sunday School. Safe Sanctuary policies are followed.

All children are required to have an adult complete a registration form on their behalf. This forms allows us to know who is responsible for picking up the child and provides a contact number in case you are needed during service time.

In the unlikely event of an emergency where the church is evacuated, the pick-up zone for children is the sidewalk behind the very back parking lot (Hazel Street) Children will remain with their Leaders until checked-out.

DELTA stands for

Disciples Equipped for Life Transformation and Action

DELTA helps to assist the churched and unchurched children:

  • enter into a personal relationship with Jesus and develop confidence in using the bible to gain knowledge about God’s will and apply it to life to form strong healthy relationships.
  • grow in all aspects of their life — physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual.

During our Wednesday Night DELTA program, students in grades 1st through 6th join together to have fun learning relevant scriptures, new skills, new games, to make new friends, all while earning awards and having fun.

DELTA students and their family are welcome to join us at 6pm  for a light dinner before DELTA meets. If you like, bring a dish to share.

The DELTA program runs from October through May

Confirmation class of 2020 is currently in session!

Confirmation is a time when young adults explore what they have been taught at home and church about being a Christian. Through a process involving reading, discussion and hands on experiences, teens discover how to define what and why they believe.
