Join us at the Spring Auction May 10th
Auction booklets are available today for those who are planning to attending
the auction. We ask that you only take one booklet per family and that you bring it to the auction. The evening’s activities include a silent auction from 6 to 7 PM. and an oral auction from 7 to 8:30 PM. Throughout the evening our youth will provide light refreshments for your purchase. Also, it’s not too late to donate items or services to be sold at the auction. See Martha in the office for a donor form. This is an opportunity to enjoy fun and fellowship while raising funds to support our church's mission for Jesus Christ.
Life Straw
Sunday school students are raising funds to purchase Lifestraw Personal water purifiers, which are designed to be worn around the neck and used in any water source. The filtering devices provide easy access to safe drinking water away from home and are effective for approximately one year. Through their service project, the Sunday school children have set their goal of $1250 or 250 Lifestraws to do their small but important part to help achieve the U.N. goal of reducing by half the number of people without safe drinking water by the year 2015. Please help the Sunday school children realize their goal with a prayerful donation. For more information contact Joan at 4575180 or lfumced@twcny.rr.com.

LFUMC night at Wendy's - May 14
Enjoy a family night out at the Wendy's restaurant on Park Street in front of the Regional Market and you will also benefit our church financially (you must go inside to order). On Wednesday, May 14th, Wendy's will donate 10% of all their sales between the hours of 5 and 8 PM to Liverpool First United Methodist Church. Put this date on your calendar and tell your friends, neighbors, and co-workers about this event. This is a great example of mutually beneficial cooperation between business and church in our community.
