Sometimes, the most important part of our day is when we pause and listen to our inner self to review our faith in God’s caring love for us. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 46, “Be still and know that I am God.”We need each day to commit ourselves to a time of a personal reflection and devotion. Even if it’s a whispered short prayer, reading The Upper Room for 3 minutes, or reading a chapter in the scriptures, God will speak to us!
We need to know the Lent is period of the Christian year designed to help us deepen our personal faith in Christ and reflect upon his influence in our lives.
Let’s make a covenant with our God, during these days, as we journey to holy week that we pause each day in some way to hear God’s voice and follow it.
