Dr. Hall's Weekly Devotional

Week of February 5th, 2012

     As we enter into the month of February we are reminded that this month calls us to prepare for the beginning of Lent. The season of Lent is meant to be a time of re-evaluation of our faith, of reflection on the teachings and ministry of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ and our renewed commitment to personal devotion, reflection and witness to our faith journey.

Jesus always encouraged His Disciples to grow closer to God by studying the history of faith and how God has dealt with His people in the past. During this Lenten season let's all make a promise to read the scriptures more each day, to pray more intensely and to live out our faith in mission to those in need. Our world needs the impact of faithful people living and growing in their faith experience.
