The Administrative Council coordinates goals and programs for our church’s mission in accordance with the mission of the United Methodist Church. All other organizations of our church are amenable to the Administrative Council. The Administrative Council is amenable to the Annual Church Conference. Persons are nominated and elected for three year terms. Members of commissions and committees may succeed themselves once. The parentheses after a name indicates the final year of his or her term.

Evangelism and Membership Care Commission
Evangelism and Membership Care Commission provides opportunities for persons to commit themselves to be followers of Jesus Christ and members of his Church, to be received into the life and ministry of Liverpool First United Methodist Church. These persons will be supported and cared for during each stage of their spiritual journey. It is responsible for maintaining membership roles, Sunday morning coffee hour, hospitality to visitors, and planning activities that promote fellowship among members.

Staff-Parish Relations Committee
The Staff-Parish Relations Committee is responsible for determining the staff needs of our church, recruiting and hiring staff to fill our needs, securing financial and personal support, providing opportunities for continuing education and training, and undertaking annual evaluations. The SPRC shall be composed of no more than nine persons and shall be elected in staggered three-year terms.

Worship Commission
