Senior Pastor the Rev. Dr. Russell Hall offers a six week bible study twice each year. The fall session generally begins in mid-October. Those attending will purchase a workbook and attend a Tuesday evening gathering which begins at 7 p.m. The study is open to all; if a sufficient number of people need child care, a special session will also be held for children.
Dr. Hall's Spring 2010 Lenten Bible Study
Dr. Hall isleading a six-week Lenten Study based on the book, “Jesus, the Final Days,” by Craig Evans and N.T. Wright. The study will focus on, what history and archaeology have to say about Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. Participants are embarking on a spiritual journey to discover the meaning of Jesus’ final days on Earth. The study began Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. and continues for six consecutive Tuesday evenings during Lent. A special addition to the study is a fellowship dinner for participants at 6:15 p.m. each night.
The study books are available for purchase in the church office.
Little Hands, Big Hearts, Lenten Bible Study for Children
During the adult bible study, children (4 years old through 6th grade) are invited to participate in their own Lenten study; we would love for you to be involved! During this special time of year children gather together to learn more about our Lord. Children will explore their faith through exciting new hands on activities as well as discussion. We hope to see you there! Nursery care will be provided for those 3 years old and under.
