Lenten craft time, Sun­days at 10:30 am

Join us in Fel­low­ship hall each Sun­day dur­ing Lent for a
Lent-relat­ed craft or col­or­ing activ­i­ty. Chil­dren and adults wel­come. Art teacher Sara Bai­ley will lead the activ­i­ties — March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, and April 5.

Spe­cial music pre­sen­ta­tion to be offered Sun­day, March 29 at 10:30 am

In between the 9:30 and 11 am wor­ship ser­vices, Michael King, Bill Young, and Nan­cy B. James will present The Shep­herd on the Rock by Franz Schu­bert. Wel­come spring with this pre­sen­ta­tion of clar­inet, piano, and vocal music.

Small gifts need­ed for shut-in bas­kets

The Hos­pi­tal­i­ty and Fel­low­ship Com­mit­tee is col­lect­ing items for spring gift bas­kets for home­bound shut-ins and those in health care facil­i­ties, now through April 12. Items need­ed: small pack­ages of tis­sues, lotion, pens, mini col­or­ing books, col­ored pen­cils, cards, devo­tion­als, & sta­tionery.

Lenten devo­tion­al books avail­able

Renewed by Liv­ing Water — a dai­ly Lenten devo­tion­al book pro­duced by the Soci­ety of St. Andrew (a min­istry that feeds the hun­gry) is avail­able at the Infor­ma­tion Cen­ter in the church cor­ri­dor. Pick up a free copy to read med­i­ta­tions and scrip­tures for each day of Lent.

Also avail­able is the March/April issue of the Upper Room dai­ly devo­tion­al book. These are also free, although dona­tions to cov­er their cost may be left in the office staff mail.

Win­ter 2020 con­fer­ence news avail­able

The Upper New York Advo­cate, a quar­ter­ly pub­li­ca­tion of the Upper New York Con­fer­ence, will only be print­ed for cer­tain issues; all oth­er issues will only be pub­lished dig­i­tal­ly. The win­ter 2020 issue is the first ful­ly dig­i­tal issue. It focus­es on reach­ing peo­ple in new places and looks at min­istries that reach out to area home­less, chil­dren, and oth­er indi­vid­u­als out­side the church walls. Full had­dock din­ners with fish deliv­ered fresh from Boston,
plus home­made three-cheese mac­a­roni and cheese, cole slaw, Ital­ian bread, dessert.
