Join us in Fellowship hall each Sunday during Lent for a
Lent-related craft or coloring activity. Children and adults welcome. Art teacher Sara Bailey will lead the activities — March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, and April 5.
Special music presentation to be offered Sunday, March 29 at 10:30 am
In between the 9:30 and 11 am worship services, Michael King, Bill Young, and Nancy B. James will present The Shepherd on the Rock by Franz Schubert. Welcome spring with this presentation of clarinet, piano, and vocal music.
Small gifts needed for shut-in baskets
The Hospitality and Fellowship Committee is collecting items for spring gift baskets for homebound shut-ins and those in health care facilities, now through April 12. Items needed: small packages of tissues, lotion, pens, mini coloring books, colored pencils, cards, devotionals, & stationery.
Lenten devotional books available
Renewed by Living Water — a daily Lenten devotional book produced by the Society of St. Andrew (a ministry that feeds the hungry) is available at the Information Center in the church corridor. Pick up a free copy to read meditations and scriptures for each day of Lent.
Also available is the March/April issue of the Upper Room daily devotional book. These are also free, although donations to cover their cost may be left in the office staff mail.
Winter 2020 conference news available
The Upper New York Advocate, a quarterly publication of the Upper New York Conference, will only be printed for certain issues; all other issues will only be published digitally. The winter 2020 issue is the first fully digital issue. It focuses on reaching people in new places and looks at ministries that reach out to area homeless, children, and other individuals outside the church walls. Fish Dinners are March 6 and March 27
Join us at our annual Lenten Friday dinners.
Full haddock dinners with fish delivered fresh from Boston,
plus homemade three-cheese macaroni and cheese, cole slaw, Italian bread, dessert.
Eat in or take out.
