Hear Pastor Bob share his thoughts on grief and loss — tomorrow at 7:15
Pastor Bob Vizthum will present his findings on issues of
dying, death, loss and grief. He will share his experiences as well as accumulated understanding. He will also share the hope we have in God to get us through grief and find a “new normal” for our lives. This Olivebranch program is open to everyone, and begins at 7:15 pm. Phoebe’s Restaurant on December 14 at 11:30 am. Syracuse Stage’s production of Beauty & The Beast will follow at 2 pm. This event is open to all ages: $65 for seniors/adults

Please support the Liverpool Food Pantry
Liverpool First UMC supports the work of the Liverpool Food Pantry at St. Joseph The Worker Church. Donations of non perishable foods are accepted year-round, and delivered to the pantry weekly. Items may be left in the purple bin located in the main corridor.
On Sundays when we celebrate Holy Communion (generally the first Sunday of each month) in worship, we offer a special invitation to bring food donations to the altar. Please plan to bring donations next Sunday, November 3.
BIB collecting macaroni & cheese cups
Any brand of ready-to-eat mac & cheese. We feed 200 children each weekend during the school year. For many children, food is their most important school supply. Information is at the collection bin in the main corridor.

Serve at the potato drop — November 16
On Saturday November 16, there is a potato drop scheduled at the Upper New York Mission Central HUB on Henry Clay Blvd. Sponsored by The Society of St. Andrew, the potato drop will provide 21 tons of potatoes to more than 50 food pantries, churches, and others organizations in need. Volunteers are needed from 8 to 11 am to help load 50 lb bags of potatoes into customer’s cars.
