One:    Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.

Many: The counsel of the Lord stands forever- the thoughts of his
             heart to all generations.

One:    The eye of the Lord is on those who revere him, on those
who hope in his steadfast love.

Many: Our soul waits for the Lord- he is our help and shield.

One:    Our heart is glad in him.

Many: We trust in his holy name.

OPENING PRAYER

Lord God, Let your steadfast love continue to be upon us, O Lord, even as we continue to hope in you. Our soul makes its boast in you, O Lord, and all you have done for us. We praise you and worship you. Now and always. Amen.

PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE

THE LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us

WRITTEN WORD

Psalm 23:1-3

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.

Zephaniah 3:14-17

Sing, Daughter Zion; shout aloud, Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, Daughter Jerusalem! The Lord has taken away your punishment, he has turned back your enemy. The Lord, the King of Israel, is with you; never again will you fear any harm. On that day they will say to Jerusalem, “Do not fear, Zion; do not let your hands hang limp. The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”

• How do you think God feels when we allow Him to restore us?

• What restoration projects has God done in your life over the
   years?

• What does it mean that God “restores your soul?”

• How does God “quiet us with His love?”

BENEDICTION RESPONSE Go Now In Peace by Don Besig

Go now in peace. Never be afraid. God will go with you each hour of every day. Go now in faith, steadfast, strong and true. Know He will guide you in all you do. Go now in love, and show you believe. Reach out to others so all the world can see. God will be there watching from above. Go now in peace, in faith, and in love.
