All: And we bring our prayer: God, be our guide forevermore.
HYMN #117 O God, Our Help in Ages Past
OPENING PRAYER O God, Giver of every gift, now and in times past, we remember your mighty acts that have given us strength and endurance through hardship and loss. We remember your steadfast love that has brought joy and new life. Be with us all these days of change. We give thanks for all that has been good in our ministry together and we confess with sadness when we have hurt one another or failed to live our ministry together faithfully. Forgive us, and help us forgive one another. Be now our shelter and our guide, this day and forevermore. Through Christ, the One in whom we have known grace and healing. Amen.
GIFT OF MUSIC Indescribable Alleluia Choir by Laura Story
COMMON AFFIRMATION OF FAITH (#883) We are not alone; we live in God’s world. We believe in God: who has created and is creating, who has come in Jesus, the Word made flesh, to reconcile and make new, who works in us and others by the Spirit. We trust in God. We are called to be the church:to celebrate God’s presence, top love and serve others, to seek justice and resist evil, to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen, our judge and our hope. In life, in death, in life beyond death, God is with us. We are not alone. Thanks be to God. Amen!

WRITTEN WORD Jeremiah 29. 10–14
This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my gracious promise to bring you back to this place. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.” — NIV
