LITANY OF FAREWELL, THANKS, AND SENDING FORTH
Brian Crispin: Our church family is changing. It is important and right that we recognize these times of passage, of endings and beginnings. Today we share this time of farewell and thanks and sending forth with Pastor Brian.
Emily Hoy: With us, in LIFE Youth Group, you have proclaimed the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ. You have challenged us to live out the Gospel. And you have challenged us to live like Jesus would have us live in our daily lives and in our community. All: We thank you for your ministry to youth.
Sara & Marshall Bailey: At this font you have baptized infants. The gift of new life in Christ comes from God and is administered by faithful pastors. All: We thank you for presiding at the ministry of baptism.
Jean Jackson: We thank Kathy Homan for her faithfulness in running Power Point to augment our weekly worship and the extra ways she has supported our church ministries. All: We are thankful for your contributions to our ministries.
Kevin & Amy Odell: Not only did you baptize children, but you have taught us, presented children’s messages, and shared in our children’s activities, including soccer. All: Thank you for being a significant part of the lives of the children and youth of Liverpool First United Methodist Church.
Bill Sanford: At this table you have presided at the sacrament of communion. The meal is the Lord’s, and this congregation has been a provider of this meal so that young and old could be fed with the living presence of Christ. All: We thank you for presiding at the sacrament of holy communion.
Julie Cummings: At hospitals and in homes, you have walked with many of us in our struggles with health, aging or other issues. You led us in prayers for healing and restoration in the midst of our suffering. All: We thank you for the encouragement you gave us as our pastor.
Barb Halstead: You walked with us in the midst of our grief when we lost a loved one. You proclaimed the good news of the resurrection and led us in prayers for comfort and strength. All: We thank you for being with us in the time of loss.
Bernie and Pastor Blessed: You have also presided over services of marriage. You were present at the beginning of something wonderful and encouraged couples to include Jesus in their marriage. You led prayers asking for God’s presence in marriage. All: We thank you for sharing those times of great joy.
Charles Mc Chesney: We are grateful for your music ministry. Your beautiful voice has enhanced our worship experience and inspired our hearts. All: We thank you for your gift of music.
Zeke Gonzalez: Thanks to Bethany and Daniel for their devotion to the Praise Band and helping us learn how to blend our music and voices in praise to our Lord. All: We thank Bethany and Daniel for their musical talents and leadership in developing the Praise Band.
Bill Rice: Thank you for helping us study the Bible, learn God’s word and direction for us. We have grown in Christ through your time with us. All: Thank you for helping us understand and keep Christ in our everyday life.
Brian Crispin: Go now and follow God’s will. Witness faithfully in word and deed to the love and salvation that is known to us in Christ. All: May God, the Father, bless you in your life, your family, and your ministry. May God, the Son, be ever with you and guide you. May God, the Holy Spirit, equip you with everything good to do God’s will. Amen.
Thank you from Pastor Brian
I offer my great appreciation and affection for my Monday afternoon “Through the Bible” study. Monday’s farewell luncheon for Kathy and me touched my heart and will be remembered with fondness throughout my life. Each of the 26 members of the class will be remembered in my prayers as you continue your journey through the Bible. It has taken us two years to get to the Book of Daniel. I would have loved to continued the journey with you but hope you will continue to dig deep and grow in faith in God’s Word and his Son.
I also thank others of the congregation for your cards, emails, and gifts to us. What I have enjoyed most in serving as your pastor is the people of this church. Every Sunday morning as I wander through the congregation it has been my sincere joy to greet you before the service begins. I will truly miss you and hope to see you in the community no longer as your pastor but as your friend.
— Blessings! Pastor B

Volunteer with Youth Praise Band

If you have some musical talent, please prayerfully consider helping these young people in their budding ministry.
Darlene Patton will attend practices and be responsible for the non-music part of praise band.
Please contact Darlene at email@example.com or Nancy B. James at firstname.lastname@example.org. Or call the church at 315–457-5180.
Franklin Graham Recap
We took a busload of people to the Lakeside Amphitheater in May for the Decision America with Franklin Graham. The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association reported that more than 6,400 people attended the event with 590 individuals who reported making first-time commitments to Christ! We celebrate this work of God in our midst and are encouraged to share our faith with our neighbors here in Liverpool.
