Historian Jim Farfaglia will present his latest book, Nestlé in Fulton, New York: How Sweet It Was. He will share interviews with former Nestlé workers, research of the company’s one hundred years in Fulton, and his personal reflections of its enduring importance to Central New York. The book celebrates and honors the workers of Nestle as he tells their story as they recall their work experiences and the process of chocolate making. He has interesting media and artifacts donated by the former employees. There are plans being made to recognize the continuing love for Nestle with a museum in Fulton.
Blessings in a Backpack is collecting soup
Blessings in a Backpack is collecting chicken noodle and vegetable beef soups in ready-to-serve cans, any brand, during May. Liverpool BIB provides weekend food for qualifying students in Syracuse.
Gift baskets for seniorsare ready for delivery.
Hospitality Committee members assembled them this week, and will coordinate delivery today. Please connect with them in Fellowship Hall if you can help deliver them to homebound and nursing home resident members.

Call PEACE, Inc. at 315–470-3331 to reserve a meal. For seniors age 60 and older (spouses & guests under age 60 welcome for suggested $6). Suggested contribution, $3. Menu for May 6: battered cod filet, baked potato with sour cream & chives, mixed vegetables, vanilla ice cream.

Attendees should arrive at The Euclid Restaurant on Route 31 in Clay for lunch at 11:30 am
The Town of Clay Historian will speak from 12:30 to 1 pm about the history of the area.
At 1 pm attendees will drive one mile north to the Schroeppel Mansion for a private tour, tea, and dessert.
At 3 pm the Town of Schroeppel Historian will speak until 3:30 pm
The Euclid is about a 15 minute drive from the village of Liverpool via Morgan Road.
The Church Bus is available for individuals needing transportation to and from the restaurant and B&B.
Checks (reservations) must be received by May 12.
