Noon — Ecu­meni­cal Wor­ship at Liv­er­pool First Pres­by­ter­ian Church, Tulip Street. Rev. Pen­ny Hart from Liv­er­pool First UMC will par­tic­i­pate in this com­mu­ni­ty-wide ser­vice.
Every­one is wel­come to attend. This is orga­nized by pas­tors from the Liv­er­pool Area Cler­gy Group.

The Out­reach & Mis­sions Com­mit­tee will take a “Noisy Can Offer­ing” on April 28 to kick off fundrais­ing for the 2020 Red Bird Mis­sion Trip. Half of the col­lec­tion will sup­port the Red Bird trip and the oth­er half will sup­port local mis­sion activ­i­ties. Please gath­er your change to bring on the 28th.

Sta­tions of the Cross — April 15 at 7:15 pm

Rose Rhein­heimer will lead par­tic­i­pants through the rit­u­al of the Sta­tions of the Cross. She will lead scrip­ture along the Via Dolorosa, the painful way of the cross. There will be oppor­tu­ni­ties to par­tic­i­pate in read­ings and fol­low Jesus’ foot­steps in the 14 suc­ces­sive inci­dents dur­ing his progress from the con­dem­na­tion by Pilate to his cru­ci­fix­ion and bur­ial. Dona­tions need­ed for Spring Gift Bas­kets

The Hos­pi­tal­i­ty and Care­giv­ing com­mit­tees are work­ing togeth­er to pro­vide spring gift bas­kets to our home­bound and nurs­ing home res­i­dents. Dona­tions are need­ed: pens, note­cards, col­ored pen­cils, note­books and oth­er sta­tionery; small packs of tis­sues, lotions, combs, razors, tooth­paste; and devo­tion­als, activ­i­ty books such as cross­words, or oth­er small gift books. Items are need­ed by April 28 to be ready for deliv­ery on May 5. Want to help deliv­er? See a com­mit­tee mem­ber at the table in Fel­low­ship Hall on April 21 or 28.

June 5 Lunch at the Euclid Restau­rant and dessert and tour at the Schroep­pel Man­sion (Riv­er Edge B&B). His­to­ri­ans from the towns of Clay and Schroep­pel will speak on the his­to­ry of both areas. Cost is $25 per per­son.

Buf­fet menu: Fried chick­en, hot roast beef, baked ziti,  chef sal­ad, rolls & but­ter, cof­fee & tea

Your own trans­porta­tion is required (the church bus will trans­port the most needy if a request is made ahead of time). Arrive at the Euclid Restau­rant, Rte 31 Clay at 11:15 am for lunch at 11:30 am. The Town of Clay his­to­ri­an will speak at 12:30 pm. At 1 pm the church bus will shut­tle peo­ple from the Euclid to the Schroep­pel Man­sion (1 mile away). The Town of Schroep­pel his­to­ri­an will speak at 3 pm. At 3:30 pm the bus will shut­tle those back to their cars at the Euclid and bring the ones who rode the bus out back to church. Reser­va­tions are being accept­ed now.
