The Outreach & Missions Committee will take a “Noisy Can Offering” on April 28 to kick off fundraising for the 2020 Red Bird Mission Trip. Half of the collection will support the Red Bird trip and the other half will support local mission activities. Please gather your change to bring on the 28th.
Stations of the Cross — April 15 at 7:15 pm
Rose Rheinheimer will lead participants through the ritual of the Stations of the Cross. She will lead scripture along the Via Dolorosa, the painful way of the cross. There will be opportunities to participate in readings and follow Jesus’ footsteps in the 14 successive incidents during his progress from the condemnation by Pilate to his crucifixion and burial. Donations needed for Spring Gift Baskets
The Hospitality and Caregiving committees are working together to provide spring gift baskets to our homebound and nursing home residents. Donations are needed: pens, notecards, colored pencils, notebooks and other stationery; small packs of tissues, lotions, combs, razors, toothpaste; and devotionals, activity books such as crosswords, or other small gift books. Items are needed by April 28 to be ready for delivery on May 5. Want to help deliver? See a committee member at the table in Fellowship Hall on April 21 or 28.

June 5 Lunch at the Euclid Restaurant and dessert and tour at the Schroeppel Mansion (River Edge B&B). Historians from the towns of Clay and Schroeppel will speak on the history of both areas. Cost is $25 per person.
Buffet menu: Fried chicken, hot roast beef, baked ziti, chef salad, rolls & butter, coffee & tea
Your own transportation is required (the church bus will transport the most needy if a request is made ahead of time). Arrive at the Euclid Restaurant, Rte 31 Clay at 11:15 am for lunch at 11:30 am. The Town of Clay historian will speak at 12:30 pm. At 1 pm the church bus will shuttle people from the Euclid to the Schroeppel Mansion (1 mile away). The Town of Schroeppel historian will speak at 3 pm. At 3:30 pm the bus will shuttle those back to their cars at the Euclid and bring the ones who rode the bus out back to church. Reservations are being accepted now. Flyers are in Fellowship Hall as well as payment envelopes. Deadline for reservations is Sunday, May 5.
