Learn about Zimbabwe at the January 28 Olivebranch Women’s Group program Learn what it is like to grow up in Zimbabwe: traditions, family life, educational opportunities, and community life for a girl. Appreciate the rituals and beliefs that are part of marriage vows, death ceremonies, and religion. Speaker Pastor Blessed Sikhosana Bird will share her experiences. Everyone is welcome at the 7:15 pm program.
All women are invited to attend the monthly dinner of the Olivebranch group, including appetizers at 5:30 pm

What do United Methodists believe that makes us different from other churches? Would you like to learn more about how you can join the church and serve Christ? Beginning January 6 and continuing for 7 weeks, members and inquiring members may join Pastor Brian Homan to explore the United Methodist faith. The group will meet on Sundays from 12:30 to 2 pm. Through the Bible study resumes January 7 The ongoing study group meets Mondays at 1 pm to discuss chapters of the Bible. All are welcome to join at any time.

Senior Ministries plans 2019 events Our 2018 events have come to a close. Check our table for pictures of recent events: Elf the Musical at Syracuse Stage and our Christmas luncheon. Copies of our 2019 schedule of events is on the table. Pricing will not be available until the end of January on most trips/events. The exception are the two overnight trips: Cape May is sold out but there is still space available on our trip to Lancaster.

Blessings in a Backpack: canned pasta During January and February, Blessings in a Backpack is collecting easy-open canned pasta w/sauce, any variety or brand. Liverpool chapter of BIB provides weekend food for 200 of the 672 qualifying students at Seymour School on Syracuse’s southwest side.
