The Liverpool United Methodist Men are serving pancakes, sausages, applesauce, and beverages in Fellowship Hall today from 8:45 to 11 am. There is no fee, but a free-will offering will be accepted to fund UMM mission and service projects.

What To Say? Learn about Alzheimer’s — Nov. 26
Learn to decode messages through attitude, tone of voice, facial expressions, and body language to communicate with family, friends, or neighbors with Alzheimer’s. A program presented by Carrianne Wilson, Associate Director CNY Alzheimer’s Association at Olivebranch Women’s Group at 7:15 pm on November 26. All are welcome to the program and all women are invited for appetizers at 5:30 pm and a light dinner at 6 pm. Cost for dinner $5. Advent Communion — December 5, 12, & 19
Join a time of peace and preparation for Christmas at Wednesday evening Advent Communion Services, starting at 7 pm in the sanctuary. Organist Bill Young and Rev. Candace Lawrence will lead traditional music and worship. Focus our hearts on the meaning of this holy season, grow in faith, and bring our faith to the celebration of Advent and Christmas.
Tour Lights on the Lake on the Church Bus

Sunday afternoon Advent study begins December 2
O. Henry wrote a short story entitled The Gift of the Magi that has inspired many. Pastor Brian Homan will lead a four-week study on the story from 3 to 4 pm on Sundays during Advent, beginning Sunday, December 2.
Service of Remembrance, December 7 at 7 pm
Clergy members from several Liverpool churches lead this annual memorial service at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church on Vine Street in Liverpool. Sponsored by Maurer Funeral Home, it offers community members an opportunity to remember loved ones that have passed away. All are welcome.
Parents Time Out — December 8, 11 am to 2 pm
Parents, drop your children off at church and enjoy time to get shopping or gift wrapping done, or to relax. The children will make crafts, enjoy pizza, decorate holiday cookies, and participate in games and stories led by our LIFE Youth Ministries group. Blessings in a Backpack is collecting pudding cups
Liverpool chapter of BIB provides weekend food for 200 of the 672 qualifying students at Seymour School on Syracuse’s southwest side. Information is available at the collection basket in the church hallway.

Chancel Choir Cantata — December 16 in worship
The choir will perform the cantata, God Came Near by Tom Fettke and Max Lucado on December 16 at both the 9:30 & 11 am services. This work is full of familiar tunes, new melodies, solos, chorus and narration. Several guest musicians and congregation members will participate along with the choir.
