OPENING PRAYER Good morning O Ancient of Days! Your Holy Word proclaims that when two or more are gathered in Your name, You are there. We welcome You, O Lord, with our songs of praise and the gifts of music. We thank You for Your leading that we gather together this morning in Your House. We could have been elsewhere but we answered that “still small voice” and we come to start out week in thanksgiving, prayer, praise and petition to You our strength and our Redeemer. We are bombarded with the daily distractions of the world, yet we choose to be in Your sanctuary to be fed with, and filled with, Your goodness and Your Word, so we may have the spiritual tools and discernment to live our lives according to Your purpose and Your Will. Open our minds and our hearts to what You would say to us today through the music, the Scriptures, the message, and the fellowship of other believers, that we may be Your hands and feet serving others in the week to come. In Your Son, Jesus Christ’s Holy Name we pray, Amen.

QUESTIONS OF LIFE & FAITH

  • Are you as careful about what you put in your mind as you
are about what you put in your mouth?
    • Have you been on a spiritual fast or feast this week?
    • If you had a label, would it contain enough ingredients to
    declare you were a Christian?
