Announcements for August 5, 2018

Volunteer needed to direct Spirit Singers children’s choir

The youth choir needs a director. Without someone to lead they will not be able to sing this year. Please pray over this much-needed opportunity. If you feel called to do it, please speak with Nancy B. James, Director of Music Ministries: 315-457-5180.

Blessings in a Backpack collects food and funds

Blessings in a Backpack, Liverpool chapter, has committed to providing weekend food for 200 of the 672 qualifying students at Seymour School on Syracuse’s southwest side. In the past year, LFUMC members generously contributed soup, pasta, breakfast bars, mac & cheese, etc. These collections will continue. But financial support is needed when food donations fall short. Consider sponsoring a child for a year of hunger-free weekends. Your check, made out to LFUMC, can be placed in the collection plate or dropped off at the office. BIB #1854 should be written in the memo line.
