Holy Thurs­day pan­cake sup­per & wor­ship: The Out­reach Com­mit­tee will serve pan­cakes, sausages, & apple­sauce on March 29 at 5 pm. Din­ner is free with dona­tions accept­ed to sup­port a mis­sion trip to Red Bird Mis­sion in Ken­tucky. Stay for Maun­dy Thurs­day wor­ship in the sanc­tu­ary at 7 pm. Sign up for Saturday’s Scav­enger Hunt Sign up on the bul­letin board in Fel­low­ship Hall for the March 31 event, which begins at 11 am and includes lunch for par­tic­i­pants and their

2018 Sophie Graze Schol­ar­ship appli­ca­tions avail­able:  Sophie Graze Church Schol­ar­ships are award­ed to high school seniors and, for 2018, return­ing stu­dents for their sec­ond year of high­er edu­ca­tion. Wednes­day Evening Wor­ship March 28 at 7 pm: Observe Holy Week with wor­ship, music and Holy Com­mu­nion.

Sup­port recov­ery — donate per­son­al care items: The youth group is col­lect­ing for Syra­cuse Teen Chal­lenge, which helps peo­ple with addic­tion recov­er through rela­tion­ship with Jesus. Needs: men’s toi­letries, bleach, laun­dry deter­gent, dish soap, toi­let paper, loose-leaf paper, spi­ral bound note­books. Place in col­lec­tion box in the church cor­ri­dor.

Enjoy Irish dance at Olivebranch’s March 26 pro­gram Pro­gram begins at 7:15 pm: Rince Na Somas dancers share cul­ture and his­to­ry of cos­tumes and dance. Every­one wel­come.

Like to sew? Help fin­ish quilts at your home The LFUMC Prayer Quilt Min­istry needs peo­ple to sew at home to sew bind­ing onto quilts. Con­tact Jean Jack­son at 315–635-7863.

Senior Min­istries Update Today is the final day to make a reser­va­tion for April 20 50’s
din­ner in Fel­low­ship Hall and pro­gram The His­to­ry of Ononda­ga Lake. $15 per per­son — All Ages Wel­come — leave checks payable to LFUMC Senior Min­istries in mail­box in hall­way. There is space avail­able for May 16 lunch & movie at Spaghet­ti War­house. New: July 31 motor coach to Raque­tte Lake for lunch cruise & tour of the Adiron­dack Muse­um on Blue Moun­tain Lake; Sept. 6 motor coach trip to Cort­land — lunch at Sher­man House & Cort­land Repertory’s pro­duc­tion of Rat Pack Lounge. See table in Fel­low­ship Hall.

Bless­ings in a Back­pack col­lec­tion: break­fast bars Bless­ings in a Back­pack is col­lect­ing break­fast bars in March and April. They must not con­tain nuts. Store and brand sug­ges­tions at col­lec­tion box in the church cor­ri­dor. Pro­vide hun­gry school chil­dren with week­end meals.

Mem­bers of the Prayer­ful Threads group knit or cro­chet scarves, hats and mit­tens for peo­ple in need, and blan­kets and sweaters for chil­dren that are bap­tized in our church. Join them on the first and third Sun­days of each month at 2 p.m., or work on your own at home and coor­di­nate with facil­i­ta­tor Paula Lam­ber­son.
