Maundy Thursday pancake supper & worship
The Outreach Committee will serve pancakes, sausages, and applesauce on March 29 to support their trip to Red Bird Mission in Kentucky. Serving begins at 5 pm. Dinner is free with donations accepted to help with expenses. Stay for Maundy Thursday worship in the sanctuary beginning at 7 pm. To help with the dinner, sign up in Fellowship Hall.

2018 Sophie Graze Scholarship applications available
Sophie Graze Church Scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors and, for 2018, returning students for their second year of higher education. Karen Gloyd can answer questions. Applications, available in the church office, are due May 15, with awards made in late June. Call Kate at 315–457-5180.
Vera House appeal — support efforts to end abuse
Vera House provides services to victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse and offers education and awareness programs. Help by volunteering or providing funding. Use a pew envelope and mark it Vera House (put your name or envelope number on it to have it show on your church giving statement for taxes). If using a check, make it out to LFUMC. Or, mark Vera House next to the other line if using your regular numbered offering envelope.

Support recovery — donate personal care items
The youth group is collecting for Syracuse Teen Challenge, a program that helps people with addiction recover through relationship with Jesus. Needs: men’s toiletries, bleach, laundry detergent, dish soap, toilet paper, loose-leaf paper, spiral bound notebooks. Collection box is in the church corridor, near the Information Center.
Enjoy Irish dance at Olivebranch’s March 26 program
Dinner at 5:30 pm (call church for reservation), program begins at 7:15 pm: Rince Na Somas dancers share culture and history of costumes and dance. See two types of Irish dance. All welcome.

Senior Ministries Update
Reservations for the April 20 1950s dinner & history program due March 25. There is space available for May 16 lunch & movie at Spaghetti Warehouse. New: July 31 motor coach trip to Raquette Lake for lunch cruise & tour of The Adirondack Museum on Blue Mountain Lake; September 6 motor coach trip to Cortland for lunch at the Sherman House & Cortland Repertory’s performance of The Rat Pack Lounge.
