Can­dle­light Ser­vice of Remem­brance

This ecu­meni­cal ser­vice spon­sored by Mau­r­er Funer­al Home and the Liv­er­pool Cler­gy Asso­ci­a­tion is on Fri­day, Decem­ber 1 at 7 p.m. at Liv­er­pool First Pres­by­ter­ian Church. Light refresh­ments will be served in the church Fel­low­ship Hall fol­low­ing the ser­vice.

Fam­i­ly Break­fast — Sat­ur­day, Decem­ber 2

Church Library Ready For Advent 

The Library, locat­ed next to the Con­fer­ence Room, will soon be ready with lots of books to enhance your prepa­ra­tion for Christ’s birth. Old favorites, recipes, dec­o­rat­ing, and children’s clas­sics are avail­able. Come check it out today.

Senior Min­istries Lan­cast­er, Pa. Bus Trip 

We have seats avail­able for the April 13–15 trip. For infor­ma­tion check our table in Fel­low­ship Hall. Your reser­va­tion is your deposit check of $25. There will be a wait­ing list should there be can­cel­la­tions.

Par­ents’ Day Out Sat­ur­day, Decem­ber 9

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For chil­dren ages 4 to 12 years old. Sign up in the Dis­cov­ery Zone (down­stairs) by Decem­ber 6. There will be piz­za, crafts and a movie for chil­dren.

Dri­ve Thru His­to­ry Series – Wednes­days 6:30 p.m.

Join our video series as Dave Stotts walks through the sto­ry of Jesus from over 50 ancient sites as record­ed in the Gospels. Come any week or every week. Dessert pro­vid­ed. Series begins Dec. 6.

101 Enve­lope Chal­lenge for children’s min­istry

The chal­lenge: Take any enve­lope on the board out­side the sanc­tu­ary and give the amount list­ed on the enve­lope, for the chil­dren & fam­i­ly min­istry, and drop it through the office win­dow. Pick your favorite num­ber or part­ner with some­one and com­bine your dona­tion to meet the num­ber on the enve­lope. Help us change lives!

Food Pantry Dona­tions & Com­mu­nion Sun­days

On the first Sun­day of each month we cel­e­brate Holy Com­mu­nion. Please bring food dona­tions to the altar rail before the ser­vice to sup­port the Food Pantry at St. Joseph the Work­er Church.

Assist at Advent Ser­vices

If you would like to par­tic­i­pate in our Advent Christ Cel­e­bra­tions by read­ing a reflec­tion and light­ing a can­dle on the wreath for a Sun­day in Advent or on Christ­mas Eve, please con­tact the office or speak to Pas­tor Homan.

Christ­mas Eve falls on a Sun­day this year so we will offer only ONE SERVICE on Decem­ber 24 at 9:30 a.m.

Christ­mas Bake Sale

Sun­day, Decem­ber 17, is the “Just in Time for Christ­mas” bake sale, after all ser­vices. Dona­tions of hol­i­day cook­ies, pies, can­dies, muffins, small cakes, breads, cof­fee cakes, home-made jams, etc. are wel­come. Small “stock­ing stuffers” are also need­ed. Pease sign up!
