DELTA meets Wednes­days at 6:30 p.m.

Dis­as­ter response train­ing — Octo­ber 28

UMCOR offers a train­ing pro­gram to pre­pare peo­ple to work in dis­as­ter sites. Youth Group needs dec­o­ra­tions 

LIFE is cre­at­ing an Egypt­ian Plague-themed haunt­ed house on

Octo­ber 27 and needs: crepe paper stream­ers, black plas­tic table cloths, plas­tic bugs, frogs, spi­ders, Sty­ro­foam peanuts, large pieces of card­board and paper bags. Dona­tions can be giv­en to any mem­ber of LIFE.

Gath­er spon­sors for the CROP Walk

The Greater Syra­cuse CROP Hunger Walk will take place on Sun­day, Octo­ber 22 at 1 p.m. at Ononda­ga Lake Park. Pick up a fund rais­ing enve­lope at the infor­ma­tion desk in the church cor­ri­dor.

Senior Min­istries

For those attend­ing the Octo­ber 21 trip to Letch­worth, arrive at church at 8 a.m. to depart prompt­ly at 8:30 and return around 7 p.m.

Master’s Touch Con­cert 

today at 6 p.m.

We are delight­ed to host the Master’s Touch Chorale today at 6 p.m. The Master’s Touch Chorale fea­tures a vast menu of Chris­t­ian music, rang­ing in styles from Beethoven to Blue­grass. They seek to please the musi­cal palate of every lis­ten­er, and to inspire our hearts to come clos­er to our Sav­ior.

Safe Sanc­tu­ary train­ing — Octo­ber 14

Fam­i­ly Fun Fes­ti­val  Octo­ber 29 —  2–5 p.m.

Join us for an after­noon of fun, fel­low­ship, games, prizes, food, crafts, movies and a bal­loon & mag­ic show! FREE for all. This is our largest fam­i­ly com­mu­ni­ty out­reach event — vol­un­teer to be a part of wel­com­ing the com­mu­ni­ty fam­i­lies into our church. If you are unable to vol­un­teer, con­sid­er donat­ing bags of wrapped can­dy or prizes! Con­tact Karen at 315–751-9098.

Let us know if you need a meal

If you are recov­er­ing from an ill­ness, surgery or injury you may appre­ci­ate some home-cooked meals. We have a new min­istry of vol­un­teers who pro­vide meals to peo­ple fac­ing such a need. If you would like to receive this assis­tance from church mem­bers, please con­tact the church office at 315–457-5180.

Women’s Break­fast: Sat., Oct. 14, 9 — 11 a.m.

All women are invit­ed for food, (baked maple French toast, home­made lemon blue­ber­ry muffins and more), con­ver­sa­tion and insight into Rebekah. Pas­tor Pen­ny will facil­i­tate. To reg­is­ter, sign below, tear off and place in the col­lec­tion plate.
