DELTA begins Wednesday

Disaster response training — October 28
UMCOR offers a training program to prepare people to work in disaster sites such as Texas and Florida, as well as in our own communities. LIFE Youth Group needs decorations
LIFE is creating an Egyptian Plague-themed haunted house on October 27 and needs your old Halloween Decorations: crepe paper streamers, black plastic table cloths, plastic bugs, frogs, spiders, Styrofoam peanuts, large pieces of cardboard and paper bags. Donations can be given to any member of LIFE.
Save the date for the CROP Hunger Walk
The Greater Syracuse CROP Hunger Walk will take place on Sunday, October 22 at 1 p.m. at Onondaga Lake Park. Pick up a fund raising envelope at the information desk in the church corridor
Church Conference — October 8 at 12:30 p.m.
District Superintendent Rev. Nola Anderson will conduct our annual business meeting. All church members are invited and may vote during a church conference. Learn about your church in this meeting.
For those attending the October 21 trip to Letchworth, arrive at church at 8 a.m. to depart promptly at 8:30 and return around 7 p.m.
Phoebe’s on Saturday, December 16 at 1:30 with Syracuse Stage’s production of The Wizard of Oz at 3 p.m. Syracuse Stage & Syracuse University Dept. of Drama team up with New York’s 2 Ring Circus to create a dazzlingly acrobatic take on The Wizard of Oz. The cirque like feats of 2 Ring Circus make it an Oz and family treat — like you’ve never seen before. ALL AGES INVITED

Family Ministries is seeking donations of bags of individually wrapped candy. Donations can be left in the marked box in the hallway
Let us know if you need a meal
If you are recovering from an illness, surgery or injury you may appreciate some home-cooked meals. We have a new ministry of volunteers who provide meals to people facing such a need. If you would like to receive this assistance from church members, please contact the church office at 315–457-5180.
