Women’s Bible Study returns September 8
The Friday Women’s Bible Study returns to meeting in the church Memorial Lounge on September 8 at 10 a.m. All women are invited to attend this weekly study led by women of the church. Call 315–457-5180 for information.
Volunteer with our Children’s Ministry

Explore the Bible in 52 weeks
Three opportunities to participate in our Journey Through the Bible study will be offered this fall. Daniel Murphy will lead the study on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. in the Conference Room. The same study will be led by Pastor Homan on Mondays at 1 p.m. and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Register at our welcome table or call the office at 315–457-5810. If you miss a particular session it will be repeated on one of the other times during the week.
Join a District Conversation — September 7
Come to a Crossroads District Laity Session on September 7 at the United Methodist Conference Center, 7481 Henry Clay Blvd., 7 to 8:30 p.m. Converse with Methodists from across central New York to address Courageous Conversation: discussing challenging topics.
Care ministry forming

Chancel Choir (adults) rehearses Thursdays at 7 p.m. & Sundays at 9 a.m., singing weekly on Sunday mornings.
Wesley Bell Ringers (teens & adults) rehearses Thursdays at 6 p.m., plays once a month on Sunday mornings.
Alleluia Choir (junior & senior high ages) rehearsals TBA, sing on Sunday mornings once a month.
Spirit Singers (youth) rehearses Sundays 10:40–11 a.m. and performs on Sundays when they are ready.
New Member orientation sessions planned
Anyone interested in becoming a member of Liverpool First UMC is encouraged to attend orientation meetings September 10, 17, & 24, at noon, to prepare for reception into membership on October 15.

Food Pantry Donations & Communion Sundays
On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate Holy Communion. Please bring food donations to the altar rail before the service to support the Food Pantry at St. Joseph the Worker Church.
