A pic­nic will be held July 23 at 11 a.m. in the church’s back yard. Enjoy a relax­ing after­noon with friends. Sign up in Fel­low­ship Hall. Please bring a dish to pass. Meat, rolls & bev­er­ages will be pro­vid­ed by the Hos­pi­tal­i­ty & Fel­low­ship Team.

Delta Son­ic car wash coupons for sale

The Delta Deal is “buy one, get one free”. These are upgrad­able for oth­er ser­vices & are good until August 7 at any Delta Son­ic in New York State & Illi­nois. After that, $2 off until Octo­ber 7. Infor­ma­tion & sales at the table in Fel­low­ship Hall.

Master’s Touch Chorale to per­form at LFUMC

Reserve Sun­day, Octo­ber 8, at 6 p.m. for a spe­cial con­cert by The Master’s Touch Chorale at LFUMC. Details will be pro­vid­ed in the next issue of All of Us.

Join a 35-mile Bike Ride, July 18

The Unit­ed Methodist Cir­cuitrid­ers will ride bikes on Tues­day, July 18. Meet at Believer’s Chapel (cor­ner of Thomp­son Rd, North­ern Blvd, & Island Rd in North Syra­cuse) at 5 p.m. Pas­tor B can give rides from Liv­er­pool First at 4:30 p.m. The route is 35 miles: Island Road to Bridge­port, coun­try road to Lake­port, south to North Chit­te­nan­go, cross over Man­lius and return Taft and North­ern Blvd to Believer’s Chapel.

Sum­mer Wor­ship Times

Our sum­mer sched­ule fea­tures two ser­vices, prayer & com­mu­nion at 8:15 a.m. in the chapel &  a tra­di­tion­al 9:30 a.m. ser­vice in the sanc­tu­ary.

• 3 & 4 year olds meet in 3 yr. class room

• K‑6th grades meet in 3rd & 4th grade class­room

• 7–12 grades meet in Memo­r­i­al Lounge

Women’s Fri­day Morn­ing Bible Study

The women’s Fri­day 10 a.m. Bible study meets at Don­na Greene’s home (315–652-5410) in Pinegate South, 8475 Big Cone Path. They are study­ing the Book of Rev­e­la­tions.

Be a good stew­ard

The Trustees have done many things to man­age finances, includ­ing installing ener­gy-effi­cient light­ing, insu­la­tion, and HVAC sys­tems. Please turn off lights when you leave. If your group is the last one out of the build­ing, turn off hall, ele­va­tor, and lob­by lights. For safe­ty, go as a team to check for lights left on. Some areas are locked when not in use. Report issues to the Church Office.

Senior Min­istries event:

Sat­ur­day, Decem­ber 16, lunch at Phoebe’s from 1:30–2:30 p.m.; 3 p.m. per­for­mance of The Wiz­ard of Oz at Syra­cuse Stage — $50 per per­son.

Project Christi­na — toys for chil­dren

Pur­chase a $5 stuffed toy at Kohl’s and child-friend­ly tote bags for Ononda­ga Coun­ty Social Ser­vices Fos­ter Care Divi­sion. When chil­dren are removed from their home a toy is giv­en to them to help ease their pain.  There is a red col­lec­tion box in Fel­low­ship Hall.
