Plant Sale – May 13

The Mission & Outreach committee will conduct a plant sale in  Johnson Park on May 13,  9 a.m. – 3 p.m., offering hanging plants and potted geraniums, just in time for Mother’s Day. Purchase quality flowers while supporting summer mission projects. Cash or checks are accepted but no charge cards, please.

Thank You

Thanks from the Hospitality Team to all who donated items for the Easter Baskets for our members at home and in health care facilities. There were enough to make special baskets for 36 persons. They were delivered between Palm Sunday and Easter by the Member Care Visiting Team members.

Snowbirds invited – May 16

The Hospitality Team invites snowbirds to a welcome back reception of strawberries, angel food cake, and whipped cream at 7 p.m. on May 16 in the Memorial Lounge. A snowbird is anyone who spent any amount of time in a warmer climate during the cold winter months.

New support group to meet Wednesday evenings

A new faith-based support group is forming for people suffering from anxiety or depression. The group will meet Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. beginning May 10. Contact the church at 315-457-5180  or for information.
