GREETING and QUESTIONS OF LIFE & FAITH
How is the reconciliation of Christ evident in the relationships we share in church?
What barriers prevent a deeper fellowship with others in the church?
How can we better open the doors of fellowship with us and with Christ?

CALL TO WORSHIP
One: We gather today to worship, but we do not gather alone.
All: There are countless others of Christ’s family who gather around the world to celebrate their faith in Christ, to learn, pray and serve.
One: We are surrounded by a great crowd of witnesses this morning.
All: There are those who worship with us who reveal their faith and encourage our own.
One: As we worship we are joined by a greater congregation of saints we no longer see.
All: They are alive being raised in Christ and who join us with the company of heaven’s hosts to praise God our Father, Jesus our Savior and Lord.
One: Through the Holy Spirit we share in common, let us raise our voices in song to celebrate and witness the grace of God that frees us to live fully now and forever.

OUR COMMON PRAYER (unison)
O Lord our God, we thank you for those who have gone before us upon whose witness your church has been established. Through failure and success the way of life has been revealed to us and we are challenged to walk with integrity our faith in this day. We bless you for those who by their speech, their writing, and their lives have enabled us to see more of your glory. We bless you for those who have helped and comforted, strengthened and encouraged us on our way. For all whom you have used to reveal the riches of your grace, we praise you, O God. We ask that with them, and with all the host of the redeemed, we may perfectly praise you in your heavenly kingdom, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen!

One: We go now with faith into our world, trusting God’s Spirit to guide us.
All: We go now with hope, waiting for the fullness of Christ’s reign.
One: We go now with love, resting in God’s care and the care of God’s people.
All: We go out with joy, to listen and speak, to sing and to suffer, to proclaim
the Good News and give glory to God.
One: Go! Make a difference; leave a legacy for others to follow to Christ!
