Tiny Houses for Good — July 30
We have committed to help Andrew Lunetta and his Tiny Homes for Good project on Saturday July 30. Meet at church at 8 a.m. and take the bus to the project to help with whatever Andrew needs to help him with a home for the homeless. A sign-up sheet is in Fellowship Hall. If you want to learn more about Tiny Homes for Good sign up and give us your email.
This is a new initiative for the Dinner/Fund-raising Committee to assist the church programming budget. Limited to less than 100 halves – when they are gone, they are gone. “Sides” available for 50 cents each. You may RESERVE your chicken halves now by signing up at the table in Fellowship Hall and PAY AT PICK-UP. These are THURSDAY afternoon drive-through BBQs in the rear parking lot aimed at commuters. Cars will drive in for window pick-up. Volunteers needed — Please check your planners to see if you can help on July 20–21 or Aug. 10–11. Volunteer sheets are in Fellowship Hall. NOTE: these events will only take place if enough volunteers sign up to help.
Step Up Moment — donate snacks, encourage fitness
We are collecting healthy snacks and water for the Step Up Moment program at the Rescue Mission in Syracuse. There is a drop box at the rear entrance to the church. The program is a free exercise program for the Rescue Mission and the local community.
Invitation to pray
Prayer Partners invite you to be a part of the group that meets Mondays at the church, from 3 to 4 p.m. Learning how to call on God in prayer is one way that we develop our relationship with God. We receive requests from many different sources and for many different needs, such as healing, comfort, strength, wisdom, protection, etc. If you are interested please call Pastor Alison at 457‑5180, Pamela Phillips at 451‑1087 or Barb Halstead at 622‑0752.

Support foster children through Project Christina
For those of you who have purchased stuffed toys for “Project Christina,” thank you. The need is increasing because there are consistent numbers of children that are removed from their home weekly and bigger sibling groups involved. Social workers use the toys to calm the children during the interview process which is extremely traumatic. You can be assured that your generous heart is making a difference.
Video On Demand- View and Share our Worship
The church makes video recordings of the 9:30 a.m. services. If you would like a copy of the video in DVD format you may request one by filling out one of the request cards in the pews and dropping it in the offering plate. Let us know the date of the service you would like and whether you want the complete service or just the Pastor’s Meditation, and your name and phone number of course, and we’ll have your video ready for pickup in the church office within a week (or so).
If you would like to give flowers to honor a loved one, a birthday or anniversary, or in memory of someone, please fill out the form below and put it in the offering plate, or contact the church at 457‑5180. We have dates available July 24 and 31, Aug. 14 and most of the months of September and October. If you were planning to have flowers on the altar for a special date, now is the time to get your order in because they fill up fast.
