GREETING & QUESTIONS OF LIFE & FAITH

Please be in silent reflection as we prepare ourselves for worship.

What gifts has your faith revealed God has given you?

Are you living up to the calling God has placed on your life – in your home, your work, your relationships?

How are you growing up in Christ and helping others move forward in faith?

CALL TO WORSHIP

ONE: We come from many different life situations to worship the same God.

ALL: There is one Lord, whose love is known in many ways.

ONE: We each have different gifts, given by God to equip the body of Christ for the work of ministry.

ALL:  In all our differences, there is blessing.

ONE: From our diversity, let us praise: one Giver, one Word, one Spirit

ALL:  We gather together to give thanks in our hearts, with our voices, and by the works of our hands.

OUR COMMON PRAYER (unison)

God of us all, open our hearts to your love. Shine your light in every home, bringing courage to those who are hurt or lonely, strength and endurance to those who are ill or caring for sick family members, and wisdom to those in fearful times of change. We thank you for the countless gifts of love we have received, whether from brother, sister, parent, child, friend or stranger. As we have been loved well by you and by others, so may we learn to love, until we love others as perfectly as you love us, through Jesus the Christ. Amen.
