Volunteers are needed to unload and sort large deliveries on the first Tuesday and second Thursday of each month. Name Tags being updated
Member Care created name tags for each church member of record several years ago. They are posted around the main floor. The entire project is being updated to match today’s members, and racks to hold the tags will be rearranged soon. We need your help! If your name tag is home, please either speak to Sue Slenker, coordinator, or drop off at the Church Office to be recorded. If you lost your tag, or never had one, please leave your name with Sue or with Cathy in the Church Office.
Vacation Bible School
It’s just around the corner…SUMMER! With summer comes Vacation Bible School! Attendance is free for all children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. We will offer an evening program. Stay tuned for our exciting theme announcement and information about registration.
Coming Saturday, June 4
The Dinner/Fundraising Committee will again lead the BBQ team preparing for our 20th Annual June BBQ. This is a major fund-raiser for the programs of our church, and requires lots of participation to make happen. There are BBQ sub-teams that divide up the responsibilities. Each sub-team makes sure that their task “happens”. We need @90 volunteers in total, from planning, to set-up, to prep, to cooking, to serving, to clean-up. There is a spot for you somewhere! We are especially looking for younger members to sign up and “learn the ropes”. Sign-ups are in Fellowship Hall. Every step in the process from Thursday, June 2, through Saturday, June 4, is very important. Remember: “Many hands make light work”. See you there!
