GREETING & QUESTIONS OF LIFE & FAITH Please be in SILENT reflection as we prepare ourselves for worship.

How has Christ’s resurrection changed your life?

Do you pass the time or embrace time?

What patterns and routines have defined your life?

What might you need to do to discover new richness to life?

PRELUDE                                Thine Is the Glory — Arr. by Joel Raney     Wesley Ringers

CONGREGATIONAL INTROIT No. 186  Alleluia (twice through)

CALL TO WORSHIP (Psalm 30.4,5; 2 Corinthians 5.17)

One:    Sing the praises of the Lord, you His faithful people.

All:      The Lord’s anger lasts only for a moment, but His favor lasts a lifetime.

One:    A new day has dawned.

All:      Weeping may last for the night, but joy comes with the morning.

One:    Christ has risen from the dead.

All:      Because He lives we can now live without fear and in anticipation of the     blessings of living.

One:    If we are living in Christ we are made new in heart and mind.

All:      The old ways of fear and failure are gone; the new has come.

One:    Let us worship in newness of spirit, open to the possibilities     companionship with the Living Lord can open to us.

OUR COMMON PRAYER (unison)

Merciful and loving God, we come seeking communion with you. In this sacred space set apart from the busyness and demands of daily life with its confusion and stress, grant us stillness of heart and quietness known only in your presence. We empty ourselves of all claims upon us at this time except for one, and this to be with you. Refresh us and guide us so that as we leave this hour we will know again your constant companionship. Amen!
