Olivebranch women’s group meets Jan. 25
All women are invited for appetizers at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6 and program at 7. Expectations of the National Political Process in the next 10 months by Bill Sanford, consultant at Brown and Sanford and prior chairman of the Onondaga County Legislature. Where do we go from here? What to expect? How do women influence the platforms and how can women participate in the process? Why does it matter? All women are encouraged to come with questions that they are wondering about related to caucuses, primaries, election primaries, ballots, women’s issues, etc. The cost is $5 for a light catered dinner. Women’s Bible Study
The Battle Plan for Prayer
Develop a deeper walk with God as you seek the Lord. The Battle Plan for Prayer equips believers to create their own prayer strategy and be specific and strategic in prayer. This 8‑week study is on Sundays from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. starting on Jan. 31, meeting in the Junior High Class Room downstairs, and is led by Alison Mapes. Child care is provided every week! District Training Day — Jan. 30

Prayer Partners invite you to be a part of the group that meets Mondays at the church, from 3 to 4 p.m. Learning how to call on God in prayer is one way that we develop our relationship with God. Discover the Bible study
Join a discipleship study, Discover the Bible. Discussion groups meet Sundays at 11 a.m. and Wednesdays at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. This overview of the Bible helps participants to better understand its contents and grow deeper in their relationship with Christ.Contact the church at 457‑5180 or firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up.
Childcare help needed
We are looking for childcare helpers during Sunday Bible Study from 12:20 to 2 p.m. starting Jan. 31. The goal is 4–8 volunteers to take one or two weeks. Toys & activities are already here, all you need to do is show up and play! Please e‑mail Alison Mapes at email@example.com to volunteer in this important role.
Volunteers needed to provide meals for the Teen MOPS
Our church hosts meetings for a Teen MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group, and they could use our help in providing the young mothers, their children and the volunteers that facilitate the program with meals. Volunteers may either prepare a meal and drop if off at church on the meeting day, or donate gift cards to area grocery stores or restaurants, so the MOPS leaders can purchase or order food. Women’s Ministry — Friday morning study
A Bible study on the book of Ephesians is held Friday mornings at 9:30. We study, pray and develop wonderful friendships. The book of Ephesians is loaded with spiritual knowledge. The Women’s Ministry is ongoing, so come any time. Rosanne McDougall is the facilitator.
Support foster children through Project Christina
Provide stuffed toys and reusable shopping bags to children who must be removed from their homes. Consider purchasing a $5 stuffed animal from the Kohl’s Care for Kids program. The County Social Services Agency also needs diapers, pacifiers & bottles. Kohl’s is featuring a new line of plush toys. Please consider a making a gift to a deserving Foster Child. Information is on the table in Fellowship Hall.
