Teens invited to afternoon of bowling — Today

Girls (grades 9–12) book study
On Jan. 19, girls in grades 9 — 12 are invited to Robin Folk’s home for pizza, conversation, and a study of the book, Confident. It will run for 6 weeks from 6 — 7:30 p.m. If you are interested, please call Robin at 622‑9360.
Come to a Chicken and Biscuit dinner on Jan. 23
The Dinner/Fund-raising Committee will serve a chicken and biscuit dinner on Saturday, Jan. 23 from 4 to 6 p.m. The menu is hearty chicken and gravy over buttermilk biscuits, vegetable, tossed salad, dessert, and beverage. Adults are $10. 6–12 are $4. Children 5 and under are FREE. Take-outs available. Sign-up sheets for volunteers to serve and for dessert makers are now posted. Teens are welcome to sign up, too. Enjoy fellowship and help the church budget at the same time.
Olivebranch women’s group meets Jan. 25
All women are invited for appetizers at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6 and program at 7. Expectations of the national Political Process in the next 10 months by Bill Sanford, Consultant Brown and Sanford and prior Chairman Onondaga County Legislature. Where do we go from here? What to expect? How do women influence the platforms and how can women participate in the process? Why does it matter? All women are encouraged to come with questions that they are wondering about related to caucuses, primaries, election primaries, ballots, women’s issues, etc. The cost is $5 for a light catered dinner. Women’s Bible Study — The Battle Plan for Prayer
Develop a deeper walk with God as you seek the Lord. The Battle Plan for Prayer equips believers to create their own prayer strategy and be specific and strategic in prayer. This 8‑week study is on Sundays from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. starting on Jan. 31, meeting in the Junior High Room downstairs, and is led by Alison Mapes. Childcare is provided every week! Women’s Ministry — new study begins
A new Bible study on the book of Ephesiansis is held Friday mornings at 9:30. We study, pray and develop wonderful friendships. The book of Ephesians is loaded with spiritual knowledge. The Women’s Ministry is ongoing, so come any time. Rosanne McDougall at (451 5017) is the facilitator.
