Support foster children through Project Christina
Provide stuffed toys and reusable shopping bags to children who must be removed from their homes. Consider purchasing a $5 stuffed animal from the Kohl’s Care for Kids program. The County Social Services Agency also needs diapers, pacifiers & bottles. Donations may be left in the Project Christina box in Fellowship Hall. For those of you who gave to Project Christina, thank you. You made a difference. Please take a copy of the thank you letter from Social Services from the table.
Volunteers needed to provide meals for the Teen MOPS
Our church hosts meetings for a Teen MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group, and they could use our help in providing the young mothers, their children and the volunteers that facilitate the program with meals. Volunteers may either prepare a meal and drop if off at church on the meeting day, or donate gift cards to area grocery stores or restaurants, so the MOPS leaders can purchase or order food. Contact the church at 457‑5180 if you would like to help.
