Celebrate the Ministry of Sara Bailey — today
At the Church Picnic in Johnson Park today, we will celebrate the ministry of Sara Bailey, our Christian Education Director. Sara will be leaving her position at the church for an Art Teacher position at East Syracuse Elementary. We will miss Sara’s creativity and joyful leadership, but we rejoice with her that she has found full-time employment in her field. Plan to attend the picnic July 26. Bring a dish to pass and a card or note to tell Sara what you have appreciated about her ministry.
Worship in The Park — Friday evenings
Every Friday throughout the summer, Liverpool First will host an informal worship service in Johnson Park from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Worship will include singing, the reading of the Word, and witness to the Scripture as well as personal witnesses from our members. Your family is welcome to join. Bring a lawn chair and look for the banner and cross.
There will be Quilting classes for anyone interested beginning the first Tuesday in August and continuing for the month of August.
We are starting a Dance Ministry here at LFUMC! If you are interested in helping plan the ministry or being a performer please contact Alison Mapes, at firstname.lastname@example.org, or the church office, 457‑5180
