Snow­bird recep­tion

All Snow­birds and their friends are invit­ed to a recep­tion in the Memo­r­i­al Lounge Tues­day, May 12 at 6:30 p.m. Whether you were gone for a week or for months, or just want to wel­come friends home, come share dessert, cof­fee and con­ver­sa­tion. Red Bird Mis­sion fund rais­er

The Out­reach Com­mis­sion is hav­ing a spring Tag Sale (garage sale) in sup­port of the Red Bird Mis­sion. We are ask­ing for these items: good usable house­hold items, toys (no cloth­ing please), jew­el­ry, tools, col­lectibles, appli­ances in work­ing order, books, etc. (No fur­ni­ture or cloth­ing please).  Bring those trea­sures you were sav­ing for our auc­tion – which is not hap­pen­ing this year – to the col­lec­tion box in the back foy­er.  Our event will be held May 8 & 9 in con­junc­tion with the vil­lage-wide garage sales.  Thank you.  Ques­tions – call Jill Ertinger, 451‑6145.

Grad­u­ates — share your news with us!

Each year in the sum­mer issue of the church newslet­ter, All of Us, we rec­og­nize the mem­bers of our church fam­i­ly that have grad­u­at­ed in recent months. If you would like us to announce your grad­u­a­tion, please pro­vide the fol­low­ing infor­ma­tion by the end of the day on June 7: your name, the name of the school that you grad­u­at­ed from, your parent’s names, your future plans (col­lege, career, etc.), and any hon­ors or awards that you would like to men­tion. Also, please drop off or email a pho­to to Kate Smith at lfumcp@twcny.rr.com <mailto:lfumcp@twcny.rr.com> . Ques­tions? “Christ­mas in July” Dra­ma Camp at LFMUC 

July 20 — 24 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Din­ner for fam­i­lies and vol­un­teers at 5:30 p.m. every night

   • Fri­day dress rehearsal with ear­ly dis­missal at 7 p.m.

   • Sun­day 11 a.m. per­for­mance in Sanc­tu­ary

For chil­dren ages Pre‑K through 6th grade
Old­er youth are wel­come to help as Junior Coun­selors

We will cre­ate a dra­ma per­for­mance with options to sing, act, or cre­ate scenery while tak­ing a deep­er look at the Christ­mas sto­ry. We will sing and dance and cre­ate VBS style. It will be a blast!

Weird Ani­mals Vaca­tion Bible School
Sun­days at 9:30 a.m. ALL sum­mer!

Every Sun­day at 9:30 a.m. we will gath­er to learn about God in VBS style! Invite friends to come and cel­e­brate with music, games, sci­ence, and oth­er fun activ­i­ties.

Church-Wide Pic­nic June 7

After the 9:30 a.m. ser­vice on June 7th, all are wel­come to grab food and fel­low­ship togeth­er as we cel­e­brate a won­der­ful year of faith devel­op­ment and friend­ship among our youth, fam­i­lies, and vol­un­teers. Food will be served inside Fel­low­ship Hall and games and face paint­ing will be hap­pen­ing out­side for kids. Feel free to bring a plate out­side to a pic­nic table! This cel­e­bra­tion is for every­one and we would love it if all joined in to cel­e­brate our youth and thank our vol­un­teers.

LFUMC East­er 2015 Mem­o­ries

One of our mem­bers has pro­duced a beau­ti­ful col­lage of pho­tos from our East­er cel­e­bra­tions. They are print­ed on 11” x 17” card stock and suit­able for fram­ing. Copies are avail­able in Fel­low­ship Hall today for a free will dona­tion towards the Unit­ed Methodist Men’s spon­sor­ship of col­lege tuition for our Hait­ian stu­dent.
