Sup­port our Mil­i­tary mem­bers 

We are look­ing for names and address­es of per­sons cur­rent­ly serv­ing in the US Armed Forces for a church ser­vice project. Box­es of treats to send to these indi­vid­u­als will be packed on April 19th. Please sub­mit names to the office or Pas­tors of fam­i­ly, friends or neigh­bors who are cur­rent­ly serv­ing. Sam­ple dona­tions are: FUN ITEMS-nerd balls, mag­a­zines, new or gen­tly used paper­backs, DVD’s, AA bat­ter­ies, dis­pos­able cam­eras, yoy­o’s, greet­ing cards to send to fam­i­ly. Toi­letries-all kinds, plus pack­ets of body wipes, lip balm, eye drops, wipes of insect repel­lent with DEET, clothes line and pins. SNACK FOOD & POWDERED DRINKS-sin­gle serv­ing pack­ets, small size cans of fruit. See poster in hall for a com­plete list of items.

We are look­ing for friend­ly faces to wel­come chil­dren and their fam­i­lies to LFUMC. Com­mit­ment is once every 2 months before and after the 9:30 a.m. ser­vice. This a low-key posi­tion with high impact on the future gen­er­a­tions of our church. Please come to our meet­ing tomor­row, March 23, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. to learn more. Senior Min­istry Events

April 10 local his­to­ry pro­gram & 50s-themed din­ner

On April 10 at 6 p.m., a 50’s- theme din­ner of Hoff­man hot dogs, coneys, salt pota­toes, old fash­ioned pop, root beer floats & retro desserts will be catered by our Men’s Club. Steve Auy­er will present a pro­gram about the his­to­ry of Elec­tron­ics Park. Learn how the area changed fol­low­ing World War 2 as new indus­tries moved into the area and oth­ers con­tin­ued to grow and expand. GE’s Elec­tron­ic Park had a big impact on the Liv­er­pool area, and was one of the rea­sons that Bay­ber­ry was devel­oped. A col­lec­tion of prints of GE’s TV ads from the 40’s-70’s will be on dis­play along with vin­tage radios. Invite friends and neigh­bors. Dead­line to sign up and pay is March 29.

April 22 Antiques Road Show & lun­cheon 

On April 22, a lun­cheon takes place at noon in the church Fel­low­ship Hall. Pro­gram will  fea­ture an “Antiques Road Show.” Bring in one item to be appraised. Cost is $10 per per­son.

Menu: Meat & Meat­less Lasagna, Antipas­to Sal­ad, Ital­ian Bread & But­ter & Straw­ber­ry Short­cake. Dead­line to sign up and pay is April 12.

Vera House White Rib­bon Cam­paign Last Sun­day, March 22nd, we had a Mis­sion Minute and spe­cial offer­ing on behalf of Vera House. Vera House is a Cen­tral NY agency that assists vic­tims of domes­tic vio­lence and sex­u­al abuse. Your car­ing gen­eros­i­ty result­ed in dona­tions of more than $500.  If you still wish to donate, please use one of the white envelopes in the pew racks marked Vera House or just mark your reg­u­lar offer­ing enve­lope or a pew enve­lope with “Vera House”.
