CALL TO WORSHIP (responsively)
ONE: Brothers and sisters, I encourage you to give your lives to God. This is the worship that God desires.
ALL: We come together to worship God, offering our true selves to God; all that we are, and all that we’re not.
ONE: By God’s mercy, we are not conformed or constrained by the patterns of this world or what has been in the past. Praise God!
ALL: By God’s mercy, may we be transformed by the renewing of our minds in this time of worship
OPENING PRAYER (unison)
Source of Wisdom, we praise your abiding guidance, for you sent Jesus to teach us your way of self-giving love. Thank you, Lord, for the abilities and responsibilities you have given us. By your Holy Spirit, may we learn to live as Jesus did: loving you continually with every action our daily life, that your reign might come as your will is done here on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
