Operation Christmas Child update — boxes sent to Zambia and Liberia We tracked a box this year sent by our Sunday School youth and found that it ended up in Zambia, Africa. 185,427 children will receive shoebox gifts in Zambia this year. Praise God that more than 1,772,600 children have received a shoebox since 1999, when Operation Christmas child began distributing gifts here. Zambia is a Southern African country with a population of 14.6 million people. 46% of the population is 14 years old or younger. Our second box ended up in Liberia, a country in Northwestern Africa. 40,320 children will be receiving gifts in this country. Liberia has 4.1 million people. Please pray for every child receiving Christmas boxes that they will receive Christ into their lives!

Vacation Bible School Call for volunteers to share your talents!
Last year we experienced a shortage of volunteers to run our VBS program and so we were unable to run it. If you are interested in being a part of its revival in some form this year please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or 315–430-2768. If you have talents that you would like to share with children, we would be blessed if you would give us time this summer for VBS or Sunday School. Talents could be anything! Examples might be cooking, art, sewing, woodworking, science, nature, music, sports, _____ fill in the blank!
Five cents can make a difference!
Our church has an account at MSK Bottle & Can return (7871 Oswego Rd), to benefit our LIFE youth program. Anyone can deposit empty containers under the church name, to donate the return.
