On Dec. 17, 2014 we had a Christmas luncheon with 70 attending. Staff from the Onondaga Historical Association presented a program “Wear Me Out: Fashion Fad, Facts & Fun,” which everyone enjoyed. In the spirit of giving, we requested those attending bring either a Kohl’s stuffed toy for “Project Christina” or a Christmas gift for foster children. The generosity was overwhelming. We delivered 70 Kohl’s toys and 5 boxes of gifts to Social Services Foster Care division. The agency was in crisis mode so some toys left immediately. “Project Christina” is an ongoing project because the need, unfortunately, is on going. Please know that your generous hearts are helping ease a child’s pain. Thank you for making a difference. The 2015 schedule for Senior Ministries will be out soon. Events will be start in February. Check the information table in Fellowship Hall for news of upcoming events.
