Elder­wood vol­un­teers help­ing out as Sal­va­tion Army bell ringers with Elder­wood res­i­dents

Sev­er­al mem­bers of the Con­gre­ga­tion vol­un­teer at the near­by Elder­wood at Liv­er­pool (for­mer­ly “Birch­wood”) skilled nurs­ing facil­i­ty and more vol­un­teers are always wel­come. Dates and times can be cho­sen to fit your sched­ule and your activ­i­ties could vary from: work­ing in the Gift Shop; trans­port­ing res­i­dents to and from activ­i­ties; accom­pa­ny­ing res­i­dents on field trips such as Bell Ring­ing at Des­tiny USA, a Chiefs game, or fish­ing at Carpenter’s Brook; to assist­ing res­i­dents dur­ing activ­i­ties and crafts; to just hav­ing a friend­ly con­ver­sa­tion with them.
