TODAY in Fellowship Hall a few of our campers are selling chocolate to raise money for their summer camp trip. Please support them by stocking up on some delicious chocolate bars. Remember – Valentine’s day is coming! We have peanut butter, caramel, milk chocolate and so many other different kinds!

“Souper” Bowl Sunday is today

The Member Care Commission has placed bins by the back entrance in the hallway outside Fellowship Hall for donations of soup to benefit the St. Joseph the Worker Food Pantry.  You have until Tuesday morning to bring in your soup. Lets try to meet Pastor Aaron’s challenge of 1000 cans.  Thank you for your generosity.

Spiritual disciplines study

Are you seeking to draw closer to God? A new weekday study will examine the traditional spiritual disciplines, such as meditation, prayer, fasting, worship, and simplicity. This is a 12-week study, and will meet on Wednesday mornings at 10:30 a.m., beginning on Feb. 6. Books for the class are $15. (If you need assistance with the cost of the book, please speak to Pastor Beth.) Please join us for this deep exploration of our faith practices.

The Perfect Valentines Day Gift

Stop by the Men’s Club table in Fellowship Hall and place a bid on a beautiful jewelry box. Hand made by the church  Woodworkers, the box is made of mahogany with a tiger maple lid inlaid with a black walnut cross. This would be a wonderful Valentine’s Day, anniversary, birthday or graduation gift. You can place a silent bid today or on  Feb. 10, when the bidding will end at 11 a.m.  Proceeds will be used for United Methodist Men projects.
